We got our first sort of look at Citroën’s new DS3 mini in a poorly lit alcove at the Geneva Motor Show in March and, based on what we could see then, it looked really cool. Well the DS3 is back and, this time, it’s in production form and will be appearing at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a few weeks. The DS3 is the first of a line of more premium models from Citroën that will revive the DS badge. This example is small with an overall length of just 155.5 inches, but that is still 10 inches longer than a MINI.
Power for the DS3 will come from a range of diesel and gas engines. The diesels put out 90 and 110 hp and have CO2 ratings of 99 and 115 g/km, respectively. The three gas four-cylinder engines range from 95 to 150 hp and have CO2 ratings of 136 to 160 g/km. The full press release is after the jump.
