The proposed helipad plan on top of Mukesh Ambani’s 1 billion $ residence ‘Seawind’ in south Mumbai, has been cleared by the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA).
Environmentalists had objected the roof top helipad plan, saying noise pollution would violate laws of the Environment Protection Act, 1986. The MCZMA took up the issue on Aug 24 after which the plan was cleared.
“The helipad has been granted clearance by the Authority,” Environment Secretary Valsa Nair Singh told PTI here.
“It is good that the helipad plan has been cleared. The government must think of having helipads atop hospitals now.” A Reliance official said,
