We knew Peugeot would be bringing the RCZ Hybrid4 to the Frankfurt Motor Show – along with a few other slick rides like the RCZ Sport Coupe – but now we finally have a fuller picture of the technical details of how this concept gets around.
Like the 3008 Hybrid4, the RCZ Hybrid4 uses a 2.0 litre HDi FAP diesel engine to move the front wheels while a 37 bhp electric motor can move the rear wheels. The motor is powered by a 200V nickel metal hydride battery and helps the system achieve an overall 200 bhp. Peugeot says the RCZ Hybrid achieves an impressive 76.35 mpg, but doesn’t give the scale. A number that’s easier to compare with similar vehicles is the RCZ Hybrid’s CO2 emissions: just 95 g/km. More details after the jump.
